STUDIO OWNER

Carol Began Her Dance Career At The Age Of 5.  After Graduating High School, She Continued Her Studies At Svetlova Dance Academy In Dorset, Vermont.  In 1973, Carol Opened Her Own Dance School In Ballston Spa, Where She Continues To Successfully Operate & Grow.  Carol Visits New York City & Boston Several Times A Year To Keep Up On The Current Trends Of Dance. In Addition To Teaching At Her Own Studio, She Is Involved In Many Talent Shows, Competitions, & Productions Throughout The Tri-State Area. "Ms. Carol", As Her Students Respectfully Call Her, Believes Dance Should Be Enjoyable As Well As A Valuable Learning Experience.

STUDIO DIRECTOR

Tiffany Began Her Studies Here At Carol Lawrence School Of Dance At The Age Of 3.   She Continues To Further Her Study & Training In All Areas Of Dance Profession, Participating In Various Dance Workshops & Conventions Each Year.  As Director Of Our Competition Teams, Miss Tiffany Has Choreographed Numerous Routines That Have Competed Regionally & At The National Level. We Are Very Proud For Our Students Bringing Home Gold, High Gold, & Platinum Awards Repeatedly. Tiffany Loves Working With The Children & Seeing Their Love Of Dance Grow Over The Years, As They Become Part Of Our Dance Family.

ASSISTANT STUDIO DIRECTOR

Halie Began Studying Dance At The Age Of 2 ½ At Carol Lawrence School Of Dance. She Trained In Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Clogging, Irish, Hip Hop, Gymnastics, Pointe, & Lyrical. She Spent 16 Years Competing Locally & Nationally & Has Won Numerous Top Awards. Halie Began Her Teaching Career At The Age Of 12, First Assisting Students Reach For Their Goal, Then Later Becoming A Full Fledge Instructor. Halie Is A Proud Graduate Of SUNY Plattsburgh As A Business Administration Major With An Emphasis In Supply Chain Management. She Always Looks Forward To Sharing Her Love Of Dance With The Students At Carol Lawrence School Of Dance! 

DANCE TEACHER

Gina’s Love For Dance Started At Carol Lawrence School Of Dance When She Was Two Years Old. She Studied Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, & Hip-Hop Until She Graduated In 2013. After Graduating, Gina Went To Springfield College In Massachusetts, Where She Completed Her Bachelor Degree In Dance And Business Marketing. During Her Four Years, She Was A Member Of The Springfield College Pride Competition Dance Team, Which Took Top Three In The New England Region In Jazz & Hip Hop. Gina Has Also Choreographed & Performed In Multiple Showcases For The Springfield College Dancers Club, Along With Being The Public Relations Officer For Three Years. Gina Completed A Summer Intern Study In Ballroom Dance At Arthur Murray Dance Studio In Saratoga Springs, New York, Where She Performed In Multiple Showcases & Routines In Waltz, Cha Cha, Swing, Salsa, Foxtrot, & Samba. Along With Being A Performer & Choreographer, Gina Has Evolved Into A Dance Educator, Which Has Given Her Significant Experience In Creating Lesson Plans For All Of Her Students, Which Focus On Developmental Dance Patterns & Gross Motor Skills. Gina Is Eager To Get Started On Her Third Year Of Teaching Competition Group & Solo Dance Routines.

VOCAL TEACHER

Melissa's Love For Music Began When She Was Just 5 & Would Sing Everywhere She Could & To Anyone That Would Listen! She Trained As Vocalist Via Private Lessons & As A Saratoga Springs High School Choralier & All-State NYSSMA Member. She Performed & Competed Along The East Coast.  She Also Spent 7 Years As A Ballston Spa Pop Warner Cheerleading Coach, So Is No Stranger To Helping Her Students Find Their "Inner Voice"! 

Melissa has an Associates Degree in Business Administration And She Is Currently Pursing Her Bachelors Degree In Psychology.  She Is Proud of Her Students Who's Dedication And Talent Have Earned Them Top Scoring Awards & Scholarships!  Melissa Is Excited To Continue To Share Her Passion For The Art Of Music With Her Students & Watch Them Shine On Stage.

 DANCE TEACHER  

Ashley Began Studying Dance At The Age Of 4 At Carol Lawrence School Of Dance.  She Studied Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Clogging, Hip-Hop, Pointe, & Lyrical.  In Middle School, Ashley Became A Part Of The Competition Team, Where For 7 Years She Competed Various Solos, Trios, Duets, & Groups With Her Team.  Ashley Was An Assistant Teacher For The Studio For 11 Years Before Becoming A Teacher. Ashley Graduated In 2020 With Her Bachelor's Degree & Graduated In 2022 With Her Master's  Degree From The College Of Saint Rose In Albany, NY.  During Her Years At College, She Was A Part Of The Golden Knights Dance Team, Practicing & Performing At Fall Basketball Games & The Yearly Spring Showcase.  Ashley Studied Childhood/Special Education & Early Childhood Education. She Specialized & Studied In Science & Has Obtained Her Certification To Teach Childhood/Special Education Grades 1-6.  Currently, Ashley Is Teaching At A Local Capital Region School District. She Is Very Excited To Start Another Dance Year With Her Students & Colleagues.

 DANCE TEACHER  

Mariah Began Her Dance Education At Carol Lawrence School Of Dance When She Was 5 Years Old. She Studied Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe, Gymnastics, Clogging, Ballroom, & Hip-Hop Until She Graduated In 2014. After Graduating, Mariah Taught At Carol Lawrence School Of Dance For 2 Years While Attending SUNY Adirondack Before Transferring To SUNY Cortland In 2016. At Cortland, She Continued Her Dance Education By Participating In The Cortland Dance Company. During Her 3 Years As A Member Of The Cortland Dance Company, Mariah Choreographed Many Dances, Competed In The Club Run Competitions, And Expanded Her Dance Knowledge By Taking Contemporary And Musical Theatre Classes. Mariah Graduated From SUNY Cortland With A Bachelor’s In Mathematics In 2019. Mariah Is Very Excited To Share Her Passion For Dance With The Students Of Carol Lawrence School Of Dance This Upcoming Year!
